For use in corrosive environments, Danfoss offers the new robust DST P40I pressure transmitter made of Titanium and with ceramic pressure sensing element. DST P40I is optimized for use in applications such as desalination systems, seawater cooling, and chemical processing. The transmitter housing is made from high-strength Titanium Grade 2, which is exceptionally resistant to a wide range of acids, alkalis, Sodium Chloride, and polluted water. The pressure sensing element is made from ceramic AI2O3 96% with superior chemical immunity. The pressure transmitter works following the piezo resistive principle, and the Wheatstone Bridge is printed directly on the inside of the ceramic diaphragm to ensure fast response time and a high degree of precision in measurements. DST P40I has been designed and tested to be highly resistant to continuous vibrations and cavitation in reverse osmosis desalination pump systems.

The pneumatic valve is a real trouble shooter solution for difficult conditions; it allows very large flow rates, it can operate from zero differential pressure and with high media temperatures, it operates at high viscosities and with dirty media, and it operates in EEx areas, merely by placing the pilot valve outside the area. The valve is equipped with a pneumatic actuator supplied by a three-way solenoid valve. The pressure of the pilot medium enters the actuator cylinder and acts on the piston, which allows the seal to open or to close through the stem. The return of the seal into its rest position is usually achieved by a return spring that can be found in the pneumatic actuator.

The VDH/VDHT solenoid valve is used to control the flow direction in high-pressure water applications. The solenoid valve is pilot operated On/Off seat valve electrically activated by a coil and is available for a wide range of flows and pressures.
